Mindfulness is living life consciously in the present moment, on purpose, without judgment to bring a sense of peace, control, and acceptance of the Now. Unfortunately, when we practice an exercise, mindfulness exercises are not excluded, we can be jaded and find ourselves being ineffective while falling into mindless routine. Here is an article which acknowledges the practicality of living in a technological world and uses it to our advantage. It highlights helpful apps on our phones (that are free!) and describes each of their benefits so that we can try something new and keep our mindfulness skills sharp. Mindfulness is a skill that needs to be practiced, so take a look, download an app or two, and live a mindful week/year/life!
